She is working under the direction of and in collaboration with Senior Association Manager Mike Breslin, who has an operational understanding of CRRA. Breanne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies from SUNY Oneonta in Oneonta, New York. She has proven communications and problem solving skills—and pays attention to detail. Her customer service experience has provided her with the passion and ability to engage client leaders and association members and consistently exceed expectations.
Jennifer Younger, retired Executive Director Jennifer Younger has retired from CRRA, after serving our organization with distinction for over ten years. Jennifer is following the good counsel of many retired friends who suggest doing more of what you love most without making big changes. For her, that means more traveling and more get-togethers with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all of us. Jennifer's exceptional service became formal in 2010. She took on the role as Executive Director after serving as the Edward H. Arnold Director of Hesburgh Libraries at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. Since then, Jennifer led CRRA in expanding our potential through membership growth and diversification, incorporation, strategic planning, pursuing grants and the development of highly valued and regularly consulted resources. Together we have accomplished more than any of us could have done on our own. Choosing not to be an island, Jennifer collaborated with professional associations such as the Catholic Library Association, Atla, and the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, as well as Catholic newspaper publishers. She engaged with members to hold symposiums and annual meetings on their campuses. These events brought together CRRA members, partners, scholars as well as librarians and archivists from other institutions, so critical in her view to building community among those with shared interests. Whether opening doors for new opportunities, developing programs, supporting committees, or talking with members, she was fully engaged in listening, learning and taking action. She brought boundless enthusiasm and energy to all that she did, always looking ahead and asking what could we contribute and what would we gain. She has an extraordinarily ability to coordinate many moving parts and when to call on experts for help. She has been an extraordinary colleague and her work will continue to benefit CRRA and its members long after she has moved on to other interesting endeavors. We are grateful to Jennifer for all that she has accomplished. |
